Rogerson Biscoe, with his green eyes and dark curly hair, is absolutely seductive. Before long, sixteen-year-old Caitlin finds herself under his spell. And when he starts to abuse her, she finds she's in too deep to get herself out...
This book is such a keeper! Sarah Dessen is brilliant! She is an unbelievable story teller. Her ideas and characters in this book will stay with me. I never read anything from Sarah until this book and all I can say is...I'm hooked! She has officially became one of my favorite authors.
Rogerson enters Caitlin's life at just the right moment. Her sister has picked up and left, leaving a withdrawn mother in her wake. Caitlin has always felt in her sisters shadow, and now with her gone she tries to get her own life in order. Rogerson is just what she needs to make that happen. He's everything she could want and being with him becomes easy. But eventually all the good she shared with him disappeared with the first time he hurts her.
