In My Mailbox

In My Mailbox was started by Kristi over at The Story Siren.

I forgot to post this in last week's, but for Christmas I only got one book. (Which I was pretty cool with that because I buy tons of books any ways.)

Shadowlands: The Immortals Series by Alyson Noel

Ever and Damen have traveled through countless past lives—and fought off the world’s darkest enemies—so they could be together forever.  But just when their long-awaited destiny is finally within reach, a powerful curse falls upon Damen…one that could destroy everything.  Now a single touch of their hands or a soft brush of their lips could mean sudden death—plunging Damen into the Shadowland.   Desperate to break the curse and save Damen, Ever immerses herself in magick—and gets help from an unexpected source…a surfer named Jude.

Although she and Jude have only just met, he feels startlingly familiar.  Despite her fierce loyalty to Damen, Ever is drawn to Jude, a green-eyed golden boy with magical talents and a mysterious past.  She’s always believed Damen to be her soulmate and one true love—and she still believes it to be true.  But as Damen pulls away to save them, Ever’s connection with Jude grows stronger—and tests her love for Damen like never before…

A Season of Eden by J.M. Warwick

He's my teacher. I shouldn't be alone with him. But I can't help that he's irresistible. I let the door silently close at my back. He stared at me, and a taut quiet stretched between us. "I like hearing you play," I said, moving toward him. He turned, in sync with my slow approach. He looked up at me but didn't say anything. I rested my clammy hand on the cold, slick body of the baby grand. "May I?" The muscles in his throat shifted, then he swallowed. "Eden." My knees weakened, like a soft tickling kiss had just been blown against the backs of them. "Is it okay?" I asked. His gaze held mine like two hands joined. He understood what I was really asking. "Let me stay," I said. "Please." "You're going to get me in trouble," he said.

That's it for me! What did you get this week?

Shadowland! Tell me if you love it more than Blue Moon okay? I like the synopsis real much. And A Season Of Eden sounds great, like Teach Me by R.A Nelson.

Ugh... The Evermore series is one of the worst series I've read. haha. I think it's the first time I've actually allowed myself to say that. But the other one looks good! I'll tweet you about Shadow Hills ;D

Two great looking reads. Shadowland has always looked wonderful and The Season Of Eden is a new one to me.

Hi!
They both sound really good! I've never read the series so that's a new author I'll have to check out. Have a great day!

Awesome books! Season of Eden sounds intense, and I can't wait to read your review of it. Teacher-student relationship? Hm... wonder where that will go. Happy reading! :)

I'm not a real big fan of the Immortals series either. I thought the first one was the best.

As a teacher, A Season of Eden is sending chills up my spine (and visions of job loss and criminal prosecution dancing in my brain). I'll be eager to hear what you think of it.

Happy reading!

You had a good week. I don't think I am going to read Shadowland after the way Blue Moon turned out. I might, might not.

I am waiting on your review!

I got too excited while reading The Immortals series, but now I realize that it's not so good as I thought. I like the series, but Shadowland was a shame. Hope you like it more than I did.

Cool week. Both look good, and even though I own them, I still haven't read them. Happy reading!
