Interview My Character!

One of the main reasons why I'm on this half way hiatus (which has been expanded until August) is so I can focus on my novel. I saw this character exercise on a forum I frequently visit, and thought it would be a fun idea.

Basically you can ask my character ANY question - no matter how random it is, and I'll answer them! Or well, my character will.  (And this may or may not count as extra entries on a future giveaway. Or depending on how many questions I get, this might turn into its own giveaway. *wink wink*)

So here is the skimmy:

My character is 24 years old, and is about to go back to her hometown for the first time in 7 years.

That's it! Ask anything you want though the answers might be a bit vague for obvious reasons. Thanks to all who take the time to help me out here :) I'll be answering questions in the comments so feel free to ask a question off of an answer I give.

Oh wow, this sounds pretty neat! Here's my question:

What is the one thing you're dreading about going back to your home town?

Looking forward to reading the answers!

Yay! You did it too :)

Are you coming back because you want to, or because you have to?

Oh, this sounds like fun! I might have to borrow the idea eventually.

Where were you for the past seven years?

(Note: Yay! Thanks for the questions girls! This has been fun so far answering them!)

Rowena - One thing? Well, there's having to be around my family again. Don't get me wrong - I love them. But I love them more from a distance. Then there's the slight chance of running into everyone I left behind including a certain ex of mine who I didn't exactly call things off with before I left. Yeah, that could be interesting if we bump into one another.

Simone - Because I have to. More like forced. My grandmother passed away, and if my mother didn't put such a guilt trip on me, I definitely wouldn't have my car packed right now. (Well, and the fact my grandmother would more in likely start haunting me if I didn't attend her service.)

Jessica - I've been living in sunny California where I never had to worry once about my crazy family or all the people from my past. It was bliss.

This is so cool!

What did you miss most about your hometown?

Sara got my question first!!! But I'd also have to say... Why did you leave in the first place, what was so bad?

And yeah.. I'd love to ask a ton of questions but then I'd be spoiling myself :P

Sara - Hhmm...I would have to say the Cliff. A spot set way back in the woods about seven miles south of town where my friends and I used to spend many nights at.

Ally - That is a very, very long story, and one my mother still seems to think I need therapy over.

(Feel free to ask as many questions as you want! You guys have no clue how much I am loving this =D!)

this is cool! here's my question:

is there a boy[friend] you left behind in sunny california who might be missing you now that you're back home?

Did leaving your home town give you the peace or happiness you wanted?

awesome idea, by the way :)

Chelleyreads: Yes, there is actually. His name is Brett and we've been together for about 2 years now.

Flying-Feli: In some ways I feel like this huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I'm very happy right now in my life, but then when I really think about all the reasons of why I left - I feel like I'm right back at ground zero.

Yay! An update on your story ;)Only one question? Well, I guess I better not waste it. (har-har)

My question is: What is your favorite marsupial animal? XD

Can you tell us your occupation?

BTW - this is a fun idea.

Is there anything you are looking forward to when you get home?

Kaila - I guess since I've been dreading just going back, I haven't even thought about the plus side of things. Seeing my sister and all her kids will be great though. I miss those little psychos.

If you were stranded in a deserted island what is the one thing you have to have?
