About Me

More things than you probably cared to know about moi....

Hi, I'm Amber.

I'm 26 years old, and live in a very small town in Missouri where Wal-Mart is considered my bookstore. Sad, huh? Besides being an avid reader, I'm a writer. I've been writing stories since I was about eight years old. I really don't know what life would be like without characters and crazy ideas always running through my head. I may be a bit more sane, but where's the fun in that? If you ever want to know more about my writing then head over to my personal blog here.

I'm currently getting my associates in the Medical Office Assistant program. Basically I will be the girl behind the counter demanding your money that you're either going to hand over nicely or curse at. I hope you choose the first one if our paths cross, but I can fully understand why you may choose the second one too. While I'm waiting on that lovely degree, I spend my days working at a deli/bakery where I'm the head baker. I can't say I love my job because I don't. But I do love the girls that I work with, and they're about the only reason why I've stayed there for so long.

I am ridiculously close with my family. I've deemed them all insane, but I wouldn't have them any other way. If I'm not hanging out with them, I'm out with friends (now that I'm over my hermit stage.) I love to drive. Sounds kind of strange, but by the time I die, I've probably spent at least 7-10 years on the road with music blaring. I am not a music snob at all. I love it all - Blues, Folk, Pop, Oldies, Rap, Dance, Punk, Alternative, but my favorite is ROCK! Seether is my all-time favorite band. They're my music muse and my wake up to face the day type of band. My obsession with them could be considered slightly unhealthy.

Other things I love to do are go to concerts, road trips, scrapbook, watch way too many movies and TV shows, go on walks/jogs, play with makeup and hair products, laugh my silly butt off, and dance like a freaking fool. I also spend entirely way too much time on the internet. I could probably get more stuff done if this place wasn't like crack. Not that I've tried crack or anything....
