  2. I'm a new follower, I'm over 13, my name is J.F. and also, you asked the question:
Would you want the ability to read other's minds?

I think I would, but it'd be hard to learn how to control it because sometimes you DON"T want to know what everyone is thinking so you have to have a method for controling and blocking things out. But ultimatly? I would like to have it.

  3. No, I wouldn't want the ability to read people's minds. While at first it seems like it'd be useful, sometimes knowing stuff you shouldn't can often put you in really sticky situations. XD

Sorry I forgot to answer it above. Whoops! XD

  4. Heeh, this series is awesome or so I hear! XD
    Thanks for this opportunity!

As for the question: I don't think I would want to be able to hear what everyone thinks! To read their minds. I am too sensitive and I know that I would eventually, definitely read something I would take the wrong way and it would hurt me.
There's fleeting "bad" thoughts crossing our mind every second and sometimes they are about the people we love and we don't mean nothing about it, it's just venting, but...

  5. thanks for the giveaway. I've been wanting to read these books for a little while now :) I want to say YES, I would love to be able to read minds. But, once I really think about it, I would have to say NO. It sounds fascinating, to be able to hear others thoughts, but some things are private and I don't think I would be able to handle peoples thoughts about me. Honestly, you have a million thoughts run through your head a day, and not all of them are nice, and some are really mundane and boring

  12. Would I want the ability to read other's minds? Occasionally, it would come in handy. Like if I wanted to know if that shifty teen that works at McDonald's spit in my burger or not. But I would have to say NO to the question. Because sometimes it's just better not to know.

As much as I would want to read someone's mind at times, I wouldn't want to ability to do it. I believe that we aren't given the ability to read a person's mind for a reason and should keep it that way.

I would love to have that ability! I'm pretty sure that with lots of practice and learning to stay away from the places full of bad people, that ability would be more beneficial than not. :)

  48. Oh my god, yes. I've wanted the ability to read other peoples' minds since I was a little kid. Honest. I was never a social butterfly - I'm actually a social phobic. So whenever I'm out with someone I've wondered what they think during our agonizing awkward silences, or what my friends think of me (truly think), or if the guys I like even notice I exist. I'm sure I'd suffer a lot of heartache, but I'd have the honest-to-goodness truth in front of me. I would have been able to leave my cheating ex sooner. I could have had the balls to ask this guy who pined over me for six years (which I somehow didn't notice) to go out with me. I could read the minds of the people I people watch. I think it'd be great!
