My Attempt at Bookmarks

For the giveaways going on in June I thought it would be neat to throw bookmarks in with the prizes. I haven't made a lot yet because the lovely Wal Mart in my town no longer carries pre-cut bookmarks so I'll probably be using card stock in future ones. Anywhoo, I decided to do Sarah Dessen novels for them. This is what I've come up with so far (go easy on me, first time bookmark maker here):

The titles are: Just Listen, That Summer (I'm kind of proud of that one), Someone Like You, Keeping the Moon, and This Lullaby. I thought maybe doing some kind of quotes from the books would be a neat idea. So I gave This Lullaby a try, and the old saying 'less is more' couldn't be truer.

I've been a horrible slacker on reading this past week and a half. You can blame a friend of mine that told me to watch Friday Night Lights and I have been hooked on that show. I didn't think I would really like it because I'm not a big football person, but holy friggin' moly one look at Tim Riggins (Taylor Kitsch) and I was sold! So now I'm going to go have my own read-a-thon so expect reviews to be posted soon!
